Are you free on Wednesday afternoons and looking for some exercise?
Callander and West Perthshire U3A (University of the 3rd Age) run a Badminton club in Thornhill and would welcome new members.
We play for fun and fitness so no previous experience necessary.
Come and give us a try if you’re not sure. Details below.

Thornhill Development Trust has been a beneficiary of Stirling Community Lottery for 3 years now and our supporters have raised £1500 in that time.
This money is used to support community projects in and around Thornhill, such as Light Up Thornhill and the Paths Group.
TDT is very grateful for that support but we would welcome new participants to our lottery cause as well.
All you have to do is go to our Lottery Page and sign up. Don’t forget to buy your tickets each week or use a direct debit to make sure you don’t miss out.
Each ticket costs £1 a week. You can buy more than one ticket for each draw. At least 60p from every £1 ticket you buy will be spent on supporting TDT.
There are weekly prize draws of up to £25,000 and a monthly Superdraw. January’s superdraw is £1000 Aldi gift card or equivalent cash.

Important information from NHS Forth Valley
NHS Forth Valley is changing the process for attending the Minor Injuries Unit within Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert.
Previously you could just turn up but now they are asking people to phone the NHS helpline first.
This is because they are trying to reduce waiting times and also hopefully avoid an unnecessary journey to Larbert from rural areas especially if the journey can be avoided.
You MUST phone NHS 24 on 111 and not just go to Minor Injuries directly.
Which would you choose? There’s just over a week to go until the monthly Community Lottery £2,000 draw!
Support Thornhill Development Trust by taking part in the Stirling Community Lottery and you could win the monthly prize or be in the draw for the weekly prize, up to £25,000.
The Lottery donates to good causes such as TDT which helps us support improvements and events in our community.

Thornhill LPP has been published on the community website today. It will also be circulated to neighbouring Community Councils and councillors in line with the Regulations around LPPs.
It has to be available for consultation for 28 days. Our cut off date for feedback is 30 June which complies with rules set out For LPPs.
You can download the Place Plan and find out where to send comments on the Community Website, but be aware that it is a large document (47.Mb)
