When you’re out walking the paths around the village do you ever notice the wild flowers growing in the verges and hedges?

The flowers and fruits mentioned below were seen on Saturday but there will be others at different times of the year.

P.S. they were identified by an amateur using Google Lens- so hopefully the names are correct. If not, email webadmin@thornhillstirling.org with the correct name and they will be amended.

Paths Group Strikes Again

Six members of the Paths Group spent a couple of hours in the sunshine on Saturday morning strimming, cutting and snipping on the Hedges and Minister’s Paths to clear the sides and make the paths easier to use.

The work was helped by the flapjacks and chocolate brownies supplied by Sue and Richard.

We are all volunteers who live in and around the village. The more people who help out the quicker the work gets done. If you could help out with future work groups, even for a short while, look out for the next announcements.

Paths Group Work Party

The Paths Group are meeting this Saturday, 2nd August to tidy up the Hedges and Minister’s Paths.
