The proposed King’s Highway corridor links the communities of Gargunnock, Kippen, Buchlyvie, Balfron and Drymen along the A811.
Stirling Council has obtained funding from Transport Scotland to build on work done by community groups and volunteers in the past.
They will be carrying out an options assessment and are looking for input from residents, route users and other interested group.
