Can You Help?

Are you free on Tuesday 3rd Feb 10am to 1pm?

If so, the Callander Woodland Group are looking for help to clear a section of path in Torrie Woods clearing an overgrown ATV track to re-open a good linking path there. This area  may have future potential for a link path to Thornhill.

They will provide First Aid kit, PPE and tools but please bring any food, drink or personal medication that you may need. Please wear stout footwear and suitable outdoor clothing.

Meet at 10 in the small parking place just off the B822 road between Callander and Thornhill, ~1km from the A81 junction on the right if travelling from Callander – see the red marker on the attached OS map. We have permission to drive people and tools up to the start of the path.

Forestry & Land Scotland are undertaking a revision of the Callander Forests Land Management Plan which comprises four woodland areas close to Callander in Stirlingshire.
