One year ago a small team of volunteers started up a monthly cafe called Common Grounds.
The next cafe is 28th Feb 10.30 to 12.30 in the Community Hall.
On the last Saturday of the month there are delicious aromas of freshly brewed coffee and home baking and an amazing array of cakes, all made by volunteers. The hall buzzes to the sound of conversations and greetings from old and new friends. Many are local but our fame has spread and we now have visitors from further afield.
The aim of the cafe has always been to provide a social hub rather than a profit making exercise so we only ask for donations to cover costs.
So come along and join us- there’s a rumour that there will be scones this month!
