Thornhill Energy Solutions Feedback

In various different ways 65 people in our community have taken part in the Energy Project supported by Thornhill Development Trust (TDT) and Forth Environment Link (FEL).

Following a launch event in December 2025 all households in the TDT area were invited to take part in a survey of their heating and power usage.

A further meeting on 23rd March gave the results of the survey and allowed for further questions.

1.  The Report on the project in a presentation from Jon Cape and Alistair Roberts , Power Circle Projects (PCP)

2.  The Q&A notes from the meeting, including more information about the next steps for the project.

Next steps:

This project is now complete and the outcomes will be reported to our funder FEL Scotland shortly. The organisers are very grateful to them to have had this opportunity to work with PCP and to look to the future of fair and efficient energy solutions for the home.

Thornhill Energy Solutions Public Meeting

PUBLIC MEETING
Monday 23rd March 7pm, Community Hall.

Thornhill Energy Solutions (TES) is an initiative of Thornhill Development Trust and is funded by Forth Environment Link.

Reminder- Energy Survey

Just a reminder that the above project is still live.

We appreciate you may not have had a chance to complete the survey yet. Please note – you don’t need to complete the whole questionnaire. If you can give the core information about the size and type of home and type of heating  – ideally with EPC – that would still be a great benefit. The Power Circle team will need at least that to see which solutions may be applicable.

Survey deadline: By the end of January (or shortly after)

Date for your diary: Project report Monday 23 March 7.00pm Thornhill Community Hall.
