‘Camphill Blair Drummond is a rural community, located next to the Safari Park on the outskirts of Stirling. We offer a home, meaningful activities and opportunities for personal development to adults with learning difficulties and other special needs. In all some 200 people live and work within Camphill Blair Drummond (https://camphillblairdrummond.org.uk/).

Further to the success of our appeal in March for PPE, for which we remain grateful for all the donations we received and very fortunate not to have needed to use them, we are now wondering if anyone can help us with our request this time around.

Do you have any spare or extras of the following IT equipment which you no longer require and would be willing to donate to us: web cameras, speakers, microphones, tablets or any such similar IT equipment? While we do have some that we currently use, it would be beneficial to have access to more.

These would be used by our Co-workers (international volunteers) and employees, supporting communication with our residents during the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly when they may find themselves isolated. This would be a situation very different to their usual routines and ensure regular contact and communication with the people who matter most to them.

Further to this, we would also use donated equipment to keep in touch, providing emotional support along with daily online activities for our day students who for now, are unable to be in our community due to social distancing and restrictions on non-essential travel.

Please feel free to share this with your friends too.
