Thornhill Energy Solutions is a joint project by Thornhill Development Trust, Forth Environment Link and Power Circles to explore new ways of delivering cheaper and greener power to homes in our area.
At an introductory public meeting on 1st December attendees viewed a presentation about alternative power options such as :
- Solar PV and battery
- Thermify HeatHub
- Biaco electric boiler
- Octopus Zero Bills
We are encouraged to complete a survey about our exisiting household energy useage and type of housing. A high number of survey returns will attract key players such as Scottish and Southern Energy and technology companies so that Thornhill households are able to have the best value heating, so the more people who take the survey the better.

The results will be shared at a further public meeting in March,
