McLaren Community Futures (MCF) consists of the 10 community organisations covering the McLaren High School catchment area. this includes Thornhill Development Trust. MCF came together, in December 2024, with the hope of accessing sizeable grants to help communities respond to climate change now and in the future.
They are waiting on the outcome of a large funding application to help progress this work. It has been really encouraging to see what joining together with other communities has already started to do. That collaboration is helping strengthen our rural voices and we were delighted to see MCF featured in The Scotsman and other publications
