Saturday 3rd December at 5pm – Christmas Tree Light Up and Festivities

** Thornhill Primary school and playgroup children are creating their own baubles to hang on the ‘Children’s tree’ outside the hall

** The tree will then be lit up by a crowned Light up Thornhill king and queen (chosen by a lottery draw in the school), accompanied by bag pipes and carol singing!

** Afterwards in the hall we will have hot drinks and baked goods, music, a bottle stall (by the parent council) and a TCT membership information stall

** Entry and refreshments are free, but donations welcome as these will help offset costs & fund next year’s Light Up Thornhill.

Thornhill Advent Windows 2022

Are you feeling festive and creative?
Please sign up to decorate your window for one of the dates in December (a sign-up list is now available in the village shop).

There’s no set theme for the windows, but here’s some suggestions for sharing:
** have a mini event revealing your window on the evening you picked (complying with social distancing rules if any in place at the time)
** let your family, friends and neighbours know or post on the community Facebook page so that anyone who would like to can give you a big cheer when you light up your window!
** you can choose to keep your window display on for the duration of the festive season or only for the chosen calendar evening
** forward a photo of your display to anneli.englund@thornhillstirling.org so that we can post this on an online version of the calendar and social media.
