Good Food For All Fund
A new Good Food For All Fund has been launched by Stirling Council. Grants of up to £10,000 are available to third sector/community groups across Stirling to tackle food inequalities and insecurities and ensure that everyone has access to nutritious healthy food in line with Stirling’s Food Framework. It is also open to internal Stirling Council Services and community planning partner public agencies.
The deadline for applications is 11 am on Monday 8 November 2021. Projects must start before the end of March 2022 and be completed by end of August 2022. Guidance Notes, Application Form and Monitoring & Evaluation Form are all available on this link:
Funding for Dementia Friendly Inclusivity
Community groups and organisations are now able to apply for grant funding of up to £10,000 to promote dementia friendly inclusivity in their area.
As part of an ongoing commitment from Stirling Council to make Stirling a dementia friendly city, the funding administered by Our Connected Neighbourhoods (OCN), is open to applications today (11 October) for groups who are already operating with a focus on dementia accessibility.
Organisations who express a willingness to strengthen dementia awareness and promote inclusion in their area are also eligible to apply. Applications for expressions of interest remain open until 7 November.
Successful applicants will be supported through a series of workshops and tailored dementia-inclusive training, including guidance on using the OCN tools and experiential audit walks.
Stirling Council earlier this year made a commitment to invest £102,000 in dementia friendly infrastructure to underline its ongoing commitment to accessibility for residents and visitors who are living with dementia.
An open session is scheduled to be held for potential applicants on Tuesday 19October and drop in surgeries via phone and online will be held from 27 – 29 October.
